President Pimentel suggested that the missionaries consider the following question at this Christmas time: What shall I give Him? Let’s be prayerful in determining what gift or gifts we can give the Savior this Christmas while we are serving here in the Germany Berlin Mission. President Monson referred to missionaries specifically when he included the following in a Christmas message in 2003: “He sends forth His word through the many thousands of missionaries serving far and wide proclaiming His gospel of good tidings and salutation of peace. … There is no better time than now, this very Christmas season, for all of us to rededicate ourselves to the principles taught by Jesus the Christ. It is the time to love the Lord our God with all our heart – and our neighbors as ourselves. It is well to remember that he who gives money gives much, he who gives time gives more, but he who gives of himself gives all. Let this be a description of our Christmas gifts.”
I am confident we will have a joyous Christmas season as we stay focused on our purpose and answer the question: What shall I give Him?
