President & Sister Pimentel, President's Assistants, Elder Felsing and Elder Roden and Mike travelled to Jena to say Auf Wiedersehen (good-bye, see you later, 'til we meet again).
We enjoyed lunch together, shared our favorite thing of the week and heard parting advice from President & Sister Pimentel and the Assistants. This last year the Erfurt Zone has been referred to as "the little city of Enoch" because of the unity and love that is present. Knowing that helped us prepare for this change.
Before going to their separate cities, the Zone Leaders, Elder Killpack and Elder Münzer organized a zone finding activity for 1/2 hour. All of the missionaries went different directions to find people to teach. They ended up with 5 appointments, one accompanied the missionaries to the church where a discussion was immediately taught. Good things are coming already. We love each and every one of the missionaries very much!

A short overview of President's message to the missionaries during the week of interviews:
President Pimentel taught about "Coping." He used a coping saw as a visual and explained that when Plan A doesn't work, we need to COPE and go to Plan B. He gave examples from the scriptures using Matt. 26:39 & 42. The Savior himself prayed for what he wanted and a second time prayed, "but if not... thy will be done."

In the April General Conference, President Uchtdorf said, "I learned that patience was far more than simply waiting for something to happen—patience required actively working toward worthwhile goals and not getting discouraged when results didn’t appear instantly or without effort...It means staying with something and doing all that we can—working, hoping, and exercising faith; bearing hardship with fortitude, even when the desires of our hearts are delayed."

Visit to Wörlitz

Saturday, President Pimentel and I, along with Elder & Sister Lewis and members of the Lankwitz Ward, visited the City of Wörlitz, a charming little German town an hour and 1/2 from Berlin. It has a history of more than 1,000 years. It sits on the edge of the Elbe River and not only has a beautiful castle but smaller replicas of famous European buildings. We had a splendid day walking and visiting together in this beautiful area.
