President Pimentel taught with the focus on becoming master teachers. We can instruct and inspire, educate and edify. The LDS way is to learn (education), Do (role play) and Share (teach to someone else).
Elder Thorley and Elder Ott challenged the mission leaders to spread the FIRE (spiritual fire that purifies, sanctifies and moves quickly) to those in their areas. The use of Preach My Gospel is the fire we want to spread so that we can become master teachers.
Extending invitations was taught by Sister Pimentel emphasizing Elder David Bednar's teaching that extending invitations is vital because faith leads to action which opens the pathway to the heart so that the Holy Ghost can deliver a confirming witness. Missionaries are blessed as they extend invitations. President Henry B. Eyring said, "When you give your heart to inviting people to come unto Christ, your heart will be changed...By helping others come unto Him, you will find that you have come unto Him yourself." It is an uplifting week as we are taught by and with the leaders of the Germany Berlin Mission! It is also nice to catch glimpses of the missionaries who come to meet up with other missionaries and work in the city while their companions are in training.
