For ten years various churches in the City of Halle, have opened their doors, all on one special evening and invited the community to visit. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Halle has been allowed to participate for four years now. This year 53 churches participated and many were open until midnight. It has been a wonderful event with many ward members and missionaries working together. Displays are set up, information and classes given. It was well worth the time and effort put in to share the Gospel with so many who came and showed interest.
The Church in Halle is located upstairs near the downtown area. Looking out the window you see the Leipziger Tower, once part of the gateway that led to the City of Leipzig.
