"Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant" - Matt. 25:23

Elder Bergeson was able to get one more Leadership Training Meeting in before he went home. He and Elder Künzli taught about the "Chemical Reaction of the Conversion Process". The key elements: the missionaries, the investigator, adding testimony and conversion by the Holy Ghost which leads to baptism. With the influence of the Holy Ghost we can then endure to the end. (A+B, add flame=energy burst and climax, followed by stable by products and the leveling out (C+D). What great team teachers!

Neumünster Stake Conference

We were able to see some of the missionaries who had arrived for Stake Conference. It is always a treat to be gathered together with so many strong members of the Church. You can see, the missionaries love getting together as well.

"Fishing With A Net"

Here is a quick overview of President Pimentel's zone conference message and some of the results:

The Savior Jesus Christ began and ended His earthly ministry with references to fishing with nets. As He began to call His disciples, He called out to Peter and Andrew “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matt. 4:19) They were professional fishermen and certainly expected to fish with a net.

Even after His death, the Savior returned to the disciples and instructed them further to cast their nets to catch fish and then gathered with them on the shore to teach them (John 21) and finally at His ascension He called for the message to go out to all the world in order to fulfill the purpose: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.” (Matt. 28:19)

We are now able to do the same, to go out to all this part of the world and to fish with a net to fulfill our Purpose (Preach My Gospel p.1). With our combined faith and diligent work fishing with a net, we will see more and more miracles. Miracles “follow those that believe.” (DC 63:9)

The last month or so the focus has been on "Fishing with Nets, the InterNet". New pass along cards were printed with www.kirche-jesu-christi.org in large, bold letters and they were recently distributed to the missionaries. In the last two days, this is what has happened:

· The President’s Assistants got a phone call from a lady, "I got your card on my door. I would like to meet with you."

· Elders in the east part of Berlin were passing out cards to everyone they could. One grumpy man would not take the card so the Elder put it on the park bench next to him. Later the Elder got a phone call, "I found one of your cards on a park bench. I would like to talk to you." They have already had two discussions.

· Elders got a call from a lady who said, "Why did you put a card on my door?" Elders responded, "We prayed about it and felt it would be a good thing." She said she knew members of the Church and would check it out on the Internet.

· Sisters on a bus gave one of the new cards to someone. The person next to them said, "Can I get one of those too?"

· Elders placed pass along cards at an apartment complex and then went back later knocking on doors. At one of the door, they heard, "I got your card, come in." They had a walk-in appointment.

· Elders were teaching a golden family and all of a sudden they wanted no more contact. Elders ran into them on the street and asked them about it. The family had found inaccurate information about the Church on the Internet. The Elders asked them to check out the official site on the new card. They did, and liked what they saw. The Elders are once again teaching them.

When Germany was dedicated for missionary work, the people were blessed to have a curiosity about the Church that would lead them to want to know more. How exciting it is to watch that take place!

We find and teach. We baptize and keep.

"Cast Your Nets" by Elder Grange

Words to "Cast Your Nets"

Here are the words to verse 1 and the chorus of "Cast Your Nets". The whole song is beautiful, I wish I could share all of it.

"Cast Your Nets"
Elder Ben Grange, April 2011

Sung by: Elder Hale, Sister McCall

Verse 1:
We've all prepared to serve the Lord
In Germany to spread His word.
With charity, faith, hope and love,
to shine the Light of God above.

Chorus:
And as you cast your nets into the sea,
you'll lay up for eternity,
Those souls who have an open heart,
you'll bring to them a holy start.
Oh, shouting praises unto Christ our King,
And unto Him, we'll forever sing.
